One of the larger challenges facing the Canadian Wool Industry is the

non-textile quality of the majority of the wool clip. This results in lower prices for Canadian Wool on the international market and a de-valuing of this important resource.  There are many innovative uses for wool other than textiles - and there is great opportunity to explore these and more options within Canada for wool.
